Welcome to Body by Bennett

We opened the doors to Edmonton’s first private training studio nearly two decades ago. Now, with two studios spanning over 14,000 square feet, we remain committed to providing smart personal training and nutrition programs.  At Body by Bennett, people work towards their health and fitness goals in a place that is respectful, engaging, and fresh. We call this the B3Experience, and it is the heart of our mission as a company.

At Body by Bennett, this means that people feel welcome, worthwhile, and interested. We consciously refuse to be indifferent, and it makes a world of difference.

At B3, we challenge people in many ways. Bodily – lift that, move this, go faster. Intellectually – change perspective, try this, where’s the research? And in outlook oriented ways – I can, I will, I want to. These kinds of challenges increase vitality in many aspects of a person’s life, not just the biceps.

As trainers, we coach our clients through their lifestyle changes. We help new and veteran trainers learn and grow as health professionals. We advise our community on healthcare initiatives and contribute thoughtfully to contemporary health and fitness discourse.

Frequently Asked…

What kinds of exercise do we do at Body by Bennett?
Exercises are specific to the individual’s ability and goals. Our trainers make use of bodyweight exercises, traditional weightlifting style, rehabilitation exercises and even athletic training modalities. Ultimately, these styles all focus on functional exercises that work the full body. One muscle group may be emphasized more than others during a session, but the full body will get a workout.
May I use the facility if I am not in session with my trainer?
Yes! However, we ask that you only use the cardio equipment, mat areas, and medicine balls. The free weights and cable machines are reserved for supervised sessions with your personal trainer. We also ask that clients and trainers in session are given priority on all equipment.
When are we open?
Because we are a private personal training studio, our hours vary based on appointments. For the most part, the gym is open from 6am to 9pm, Monday through Friday, and 8am to 3pm on Saturdays. Reception hours are 8am to 4pm, during the week. Body by Bennett is closed on all statutory holidays.
What qualifications and education do your trainers have?
All of our trainers have a Kinesiology Degree, Phys Ed Degree, or NAIT Personal Training Diploma. Most trainers also have further certification through CSEP, AFLCA, or PTA Global, to name a few. We also believe in continuing education and development for our trainers. Exercise science is a growing field, and we need to stay current. As a company, we invest in outsourcedBB1753

and in-house professional development for our talented exercise and nutrition specialists.
